Ahead of the Milwaukee playoff watch party, 49ers and Packers supporters.
On Saturday night, two important teams will be putting forth their best effort to advance farther in the postseason. Despite the fact that we are in Packer country, both sets of supporters will be crammed into a Milwaukee bar, hoping for their side to win.
Signs on the wall and jackets proudly worn honor The Pack inside Dugout 54. But there will be plenty of red and gold in the crowd there on Saturday night. “I’ve been a fan since about ’88,” said David Castillo. Castillo met TMJ4 while decked out from head to toe in San Francisco 49ers gear. “You know I’m always in enemy territory so always getting weird looks,” Castillo laughed.
Dave Grycan, general manager of the bar in Milwaukee, says he’s more than glad for him and thirty other San Francisco supporters to join him for the major play-off game.
“Niners supporters are the same way; we embrace everyone and enjoy themselves with each other. They are really kind.
It’s an opinion that Castillo shares.
“I will say that both fan bases are very respectful; when I go to games at Lambeau, the Green Bay fans have always been very respectful.”
However, two supporters who will go away victorious will both firmly believe that their team will win.
