Breaking: A Major Franchise Is About to Happen for the Green Bay Packers
The Dallas Cowboys and Green Bay head coach Matt LaFleur during the first half of the 2024 NFC wild card game at AT&T Stadium. The 2023 season for the Green Bay Packers has already been incredibly successful. The Packers appear to have discovered their franchise quarterback and have a young core of reliable offensive weapons surrounding him, regardless of whether they defeat the San Francisco 49ers in the Divisional round of the playoffs.
There are already rumors that the Packers are moving closer to securing an extension that will guarantee the start of a new chapter in Green Bay history.
Jordan Love is expected to sign an extension after the NFC wild-card round demolition of the Dallas Cowboys in a rout, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. When all is said and done, he is projected to be among the top paid quarterbacks in the league:
“Jordan Love seems to be the quarterback for the Packers,” Rapoport stated prior to Sunday’s game in a video that was uploaded on X. Prior to this season, in May, he completed a Band-Aid deal for $22.5 million for a year.
“From what I understand, there will be a serious discussion about the possibility of a new deal between his representation and the Packers,” Rapoport stated. Nothing can be done before May, so don’t be shocked if he receives payment.
