Criticism: Patrick Beverley React to JJ Redick’s Harsh Criticism of Head Coach Doc Rivers.

The Bucks are off to a slow start under their new head coach, Doc Rivers. The team went 3-7 in the first ten games of Rivers’ tenure. The hiring of Rivers followed the firing of Adrian Griffin, who led the team to a 30-13 start. The Bucks are now 35-21 with Rivers in charge.

The Bucks are playing better defense overall under Rivers, but their offense has been inconsistent to say the least. The only player who has been able to keep up with the Bucks’ offense has been Giannis. Lillard’s numbers have been down significantly this season, and the Bucks are hoping that his three point contest win and MVP nod will give him a boost for the remainder of the season.

Rivers was candid throughout the pre-All-Star Break and during the post-break period about the challenges he faced in leading the team. He said, “It’s not an easy transition to take over a team that has NBA Championship aspirations. It’s not an easy culture change.”
